Permission Granted

Ash and I decided to email multiple bands and artists to ask for permission to use songs, as we knew that we wouldn't get replies from a good amount of them. I set up a Myspace account and proceeded to email bands telling them about the project and asking if we could use their songs.

I finally got a reply from Canterbury (Canterbury's Myspace) who were happy to let us use their song Diver. Below is the email that I recieved from them:
hi Sam, sounds sweet! Feel free to use it, but please spread the word about the album in doing so and we'd love to see the finished video =]

Below is the song that we shall be creating a video for.

I thought that to help us when we come to creating our video, I would write down the lyrics to the song. It should now be easier to film our video as when it comes to singing, we have the lyrics already prepared.

Nothing but air’s in the way,
And it feels like it’s already,
Below me now,
Below me now,
I would come down but you should come up,
You should see this view from up here,
It seems endless now,
Seems endless now,
So I’m,
Straight out of the sunset baby,
And your falling behind,
Well I’ll keep you in mind,
When I run,
There’s no use trying to catch me up,
But you’ll be in my mind,
Every time I look back at the sun,
Things I’m forbidden to see,
Have been moved into the light that seems,
To surround me now,
Surround me now,
I’m on fire when I’m in the sky,
If you hold on I’ll teach you to fly,
But I could burn us alive,
I could burn us alive,
So I’m,
Straight out of the sunset baby,
And your falling behind,
Well I’ll keep you in mind,
When I run,
There’s no use trying to catch me up,
But you’ll be in my mind,
Every time I look back at the sun,
It’s getting crowded round here,
I feel like,
A deep sea diver,
A deep sea diver,
So I’ll swim back into the emptiness,
Where I think I’ll spend some time,
Straight out of the sunset baby,
And your falling behind,
Well I’ll keep you in mind,
When I run,
There’s no use trying to catch me up,
But you’ll be in my mind,
Every time I look back at the sun,
Straight out of the sunset baby,
And your falling behind,
Well I’ll keep you in mind,
When I run,
There’s no use trying to catch me up,
But you’ll be in my mind,
Every time I look back at the sun,
It’s getting crowded round here,
I feel like,
A deep sea diver,
A deep sea diver,
So I’ll swim back into the emptiness,
Where I think I’ll spend some time,
